All it took was a second looking at these and i was in love. Artist Ryosuke Fukusada’s wooden light bulbs looks like they are carved from a solid block of wood but they actually work and look amazing too.
The bulbs are not in fact made from a solid bit of wood but are actually made from an LED bulb covered in an incredibly thin wooden shell that still lets the light shine through. This creates an amazing glowing woodgrain effect when the lights are on and a normal piece of wood in the shape of a bulb when off. The trouble is these aren’t actually being produced yet to buy but hopefully in the near future they will because i will be one of the first people to buy them.
