I use Gmail and my phone for my calender as traditional calenders seem out of date to me but i’m thinking of scrapping the digital version for either or both of these wonderful creations. The first is by Spanish designer Oscar Diaz who has designed a calendar that uses the capillary action of ink spreading across paper to display the date. Each month, a bottle of coloured ink spreads across a sheet of paper embossed with numbers, colouring them in as it goes. Go and check more of his stuff here.
The calender at the bottom is the 2011 Calendar Scarf . All you have to do is pull the string as time goes by and the calender stays up to date.
